Double External Walls

The Ultimate in energy efficiency, strength and comfort.

Two 63mm thick Fraemohs solid timber external walls with natural wool insulation between results in an impressive 3.4 R value that really delivers. Expect low heating bills, great sound proofing, increased earthquake and storm resistance - and many impressed friends & visitors!

Roof and flooring insulation - Must have ingredients to create an easy heat home with low power bills. Choose from Eco and high R value options.

Roofing

Make your home stand out.
There are a variety of roof claddings available today. Illustrated is stylish ‘Tegola’ Asphalt Roof Shingles/Membrane Roofing which creates a stunning relief effect

Solar Water Heating Options

A ‘Thermocell’ solar hot water system can reduce yearly costs by up to 75%. Many customers rely solely on their solar panels for hot water most of the year. Thermocell’s Art-Line panels compliment your roofline - the panels can be installed in any 25deg+ roof to resemble skylight windows.

Hurricane Rods

Every Fraemohs Home includes Hurricane Rods to provide added strength to ensure your home sits secure during the shakes and storms of Mother Nature.

Heating

Fraemohs can advise on a range of heating options including woodburner with wet back, pellet fires, diesel fired radiator central heating systems, and heat pumps.

Efficient rainwater collection systems ensure not a drop is wasted!

Joinery Options

Solid Timber - this fine example of Rosewood timber joinery comes from ‘Timberlake Doors’ craftsmen of custom made European style doors, windows, bi-folds and stairs.

Aluminium– consider thermal break double glazed Aluminium windows. A clever thermal break ensures no condensation during humid conditions. Cooler in summer too. Ask for your favourite sliders, bifolds internal blinds, or other brands for Tilt’n Turn.
